Kirsten is a specialist in competition law and works as a lawyer in the Competition Law & Compliance practice group.

In recent years she has assisted both national and international clients in (complex) competition law cases. Kirsten advises clients on, among other things, distribution systems and assists clients in cartel investigations. She also has extensive experience with merger notifications to the European Commission and the Authority Consumer & Market.

 

Kirsten differentiates herself by her ability to understand and connect competition law with the dynamic world of technology. She closely follows the impact of technology on competition law and has recently completed a blockchain course at the Amsterdam Law and Technology Institute. Her progressive thinking is also reflected in her advice to clients, taking into account changing industry trends.

Kirsten has a broad social interest. In addition to her work at SOLV, she is an active lawyer-volunteer at Lawyers for Lawyers. Within this organization, she is committed to supporting lawyers worldwide who are threatened or opposed because of their work. She also advocates for more diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.

Kirsten is a member of the Competition Law Association and W@Competition.
