Emma has been working at Solv since February 2026 and specialises in information law and competition law. She is part of the Intellectual Property & Media and Competition Law & Compliance teams.
Emma obtained her Master’s degree in Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT from the VU University Amsterdam. Emma has a broad social interest, with a particular focus on the media sector and wrote her Master’s thesis on the European Media Freedom Act. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Leiden University and studied for a semester at UC Law San Francisco, where she took advanced courses in International Intellectual Property Law and Risk & Compliance, among other subjects.
Emma previously worked at a renowned boutique law firm, where she gained experience in cases relating to unlawful press publications, copyright and trademark law.
In her spare time, Emma is training to become a yoga teacher and has a passion for cooking.
