Op 1 september 2004 is de expositie “Evolution” geopend. Drie maanden lang zullen 17 zwart-wit motieven van de fotograaf Bert Berghuis te zien zijn op de SOLV-site:
“The exhibition Evolution shows a series of images that portray the delicate and often interesting balance between nature and the hand of man. Evolution includes images of lost Seats 500 in a rough Spanish landscape and stormy weather, the sea framed by some strings of light bulbs and subtly decorated by a few sailing boats, and a fairground attraction named “Evolution” high up in the sky. Spain, Portugal and France form the decorum of this exhibition, although the photographer also finds inspiration in the landscape of his home country, the Netherlands. Bert Berghuis´ work is best described as “timeless with a modern edge”. “
